Embracing My Sexuality as a Gay Man

Growing up, I felt ashamed of my sexuality. I was raised in a conservative family where being gay was never discussed, let alone accepted. It took me years to accept myself fully.
When I finally embraced who I am, I wanted to explore my pleasure without shame. For so long, I had been told that my desires were wrong or sinful. Unlearning that took time.
Adult products helped me understand my body and what brings me joy. It was part of my self-acceptance journey. I learned that pleasure is a beautiful part of being human, regardless of who you love.
I now feel confident in my sexuality. I no longer hide who I am or what I want. I have earned this sense of peace after years of struggling.
To anyone still struggling with self-acceptance: you are worthy of love and pleasure. Your sexuality is beautiful, and there is nothing wrong with you.
